RULES AND REGULATION OF COLLEGE

• Students should be punctual


• Students should maintain discipline while interacting either the Teaching & Non Teaching staff and co-students.


• Students are not allowed to keep cell phones with them.


• Students are expected to check the notice boards regularly.


• Students should abide by the rules and regulations framed by the college authorities. Students attending lectures in the rooms or working in the laboratories shall maintain perfect silence.


• No student shall leave the classroom either without permission or till the teacher leaves the room.


• Every student should be present in the college 5 minutes before the commencement of prayer session.


• The late comers will not be permitted to attend the classes of the day. All students must come college with uniform and identity cards daily.


• Transfer certificates and conduct certificates will not be issued unless all the dues to the college and hostel are cleared.


• The principal's decision shall be final in all matters of punishment to the students for the infringement of any of the rules.


• Dr.VNCE has no history of ragging. It is strictly forbidden in the campus or anywhere. Complaints of ragging will be dealt with severely punished. Students will be dismissed.



CONTECT AND BEHAVIOUR :





• Any behaviour or activity in or outside the campus leading to intended or inadvertent damage to the reputation of the institution is considered misconduct and/or indiscipline. Loitering in the veranda, disfiguring or damage furniture , wetting or otherwise dirtying the walls etc., Are considering indiscipline.


• Respect to the teacher and other is mandatory. Greeting the fellow students and saluting the teaching staff are good manners.


• Absolute silence must be maintained all over campus ( and in the college bus) expect for academic interaction in classroom or laboratories.


• The class teacher shall decide the place of seating for every student


• Students are to wear decent and formal dresses and footwear.


• Discipline is the operating system of the Dr.Vellasamy Nadar College of Education. The management reserves the right to determine what behaviour or action of the students is violation of conduct and discipline. Management's decision is final. Management shall unilaterally decide on the punishment and or subsequent course of action. No representation from the students or parent shall be entertained in this regard.



Attendance :



• It is imperative that a trainee secures a minimum attendance of 85% to be eligible to appear for the university examinations at the end of each academic year.


• Students should attend the instruction class on all working days. Written application forleaves should be submitted at least one day in advance


• If a student absent herself for five consecutive working days without applying for leave her name will be removed from the roll of the college.


• Attendance is taken daily and those who arrive late are marked as absent.
• No of students will be released from the training until the course is completed. No of students will be allowed the appear for the B.Ed degree examination unless. She put in 85% attendance of the total working days as prescribed by the university, working days 200.

• Special care and attention will be given to enable trainees to secure covered university Ranks.



Career Placement :



• Campus Recruitment will be one of the important aspects of our college and eminent organizations will be invited for campus recruitment.



University fees:



• The fees prescribed by the university for examination will be collected from each trainee separately and will be sent to TamilNadu Teachers Education University as per the norms.
